Wagner To Quit United Artists?

August 14 2008

TOM CRUISE's production partner PAULA WAGNER is in talks to leave the company the pair have been running for MGM.

Trade publication Daily Variety claims Wagner has plans to leave United Artists and concentrate on projects for one of Hollywood's biggest studios MGM.

The producer and Cruise stepped in to take over UA after the movie star fell out with Paramount Pictures, his home for many years, in 2006.

Variety reports Wagner will continue to produce independent films with UA, while working with Cruise and MGM on various films she has in development.

Wagner will retain an ownership interest in the studio.
