Madonna Not Adopting Tot

LATEST: A representative for MADONNA has denied rumours the superstar is in the process of adopting another child.

Media reports claimed the Material Girl star was attempting to adopt a two-year-old girl from Malawi - the same African country where she adopted her son David Banda in 2006.

And the singer was reportedly desperate to take the tot back to her London home - but was refused by the girl's family - who told the star they were "not interested".

But Madonna's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, insists there is no truth to the claims.

She tells Usmagazine.com, "Madonna has not made an attempt to adopt this baby earlier this year or now.
