Spice Girl's Property Empire

Singer MELANIE BROWN is to embark on a new career - as a property tycoon.

The former Spice Girls star has invested in five houses in Los Angeles to safeguard her future.

She lives in one with husband Stephen Belafonte and daughters Phoenix and Angel.

But she hopes the other four will provide her family with an income in the future.

Brown says, "I have about five houses over there because I'm investing in property. But the one that's our home is very special.

"It's all white with lots of multicoloured pop art. It's very minimalist and stylish. And it's like indoors and outdoors because we have a pool and the whole house opens up. Look at me, boasting. Sorry!"
