Late moviemaker YOUSSEF CHAHINE will be remembered at the upcoming Venice Film Festival in Italy - this year's event has been dedicated to him.

The revered Egyptian director died in July (08), aged 82.

Chahine's 1958 film Cairo Station, in which he also starred, will be screened during the festival, which begins next week (27Aug08).
