Mccoy Stunned By Perry's Mum

GYM CLASS HEROES star TRAVIS McCOY is puzzled about remarks his girlfriend KATY PERRY's minister mother made about her pop star success - because the singer's parents have always been most supportive.

Perry's mum Mary Hudson, an evangelical Christian preacher, told Britain's Mail on Sunday newspaper she prays for her daughter's salvation, insisting "I fear she has been led astray by Hollywood."

In the article, Hudson also admits she isn't a fan of Perry's I Kissed A Girl summer pop anthem.

Her comments have stunned McCoy - because he always thought his girlfriend's parents supported her career.

He says, "Her parents are actually really cool. They are ministers. They never shunned her for her music or her lyrics."
