Actor JULIUS CARRY has died. He was 56.

The star passed away on Tuesday after losing his battle with pancreatic cancer.

Carry was most famous for his role as Sho Nuff in cult 1985 martial arts film The Last Dragon. He enjoyed a long career in the TV industry, starring in shows such as 1989's Doctor, Doctor and making notable appearances in Jag, Diagnosis Murder and Spin City.

Carry is survived by his wife Naomi.Donations may be made to The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

I really enjoyed his

I really enjoyed his presence on screen...I first noticed
him in the film The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh. He will
be missed, surely by those closest to him and his fellow
co-actors, but also by people like me who recognized him
from his early years. Condolences to his family.
