Nixon To Star In U.K. TV Drama

SEX AND THE CITY star CYNTHIA NIXON will star in a new drama series about writer QUENTIN CRISP.

The actress will play Crisp's close friend, performance artist Penny Arcade, in An Englishman in New York.

It is a follow-up to The Naked Civil Servant, and British actor John Hurt will reprise his role as Crisp.

American ­actor Denis O'Hare, who plays Rob Lowe's manager in the series Brothers and Sisters, will play a magazine editor.

The drama will screen on U.K. channel ITV1 next year.
