Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller Expecting First Child

Charlie Sheen is set to be a dad again - his new wife Brooke Mueller is pregnant with the couple's first child.

The happy news comes less than three months after the pair wed in Los Angeles on May 30.

A source tells In Touch magazine, "They are so happy and excited... They are in love, and this news makes things even better."

Sheen and Mueller met in 2006, while the actor was in the middle of a messy divorce battle with former wife Denise Richards.

"Brooke and I are thrilled! She's the best stepmom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could ever hope for," Sheen, said, referring to his daughters Sam, 4, and Lola, 2 (with ex-wife Denise Richards), and Cassandra, 23 (with ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt).

"Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she'll be an amazing mom. Unless I bat 100%, perhaps a boy awaits us."

In June, they shot down reports that they were expecting.

"Doesn't mean it's not part of the plan," Sheen told TV show Extra. "It's just not happening as we speak."
