Mixtape Brings Jay-Z And Oasis Together

August 28 2008

JAY-Z's spat with OASIS star NOEL GALLAGHER has inspired a group called COOKIN' SOUL to record a mixtape of the two artists' hits.

Ojayzis mixes the music of Oasis and Jay-Z and is currently available to download free on MySpace.com.

The mixtape is inspired by the rapper's falling out with Gallagher prior to June's (08) Glastonbury festival; the rocker criticised event organisers for booking Jay-Z as a headliner, insisting rap music had no place there.

Jay-Z responded by performing a version of Oasis' Wonderwall onstage, during a well-received gig.

The odd couple has since patched up their differences and now hope to work together.

According to NME.com, the new mixtape's mash-up tracks include 99 Supersonic Problems and Supernova Hello.
