Will Ferrell Thought His Trailer Was Haunted

WILL Ferrell reportedly had to get a new trailer on the set of his latest film because he was convinced his other one was haunted.

The funnyman is currently shooting his latest film ‘Dog Fight’ in New Orleans but was left freaked out by the “ghosts” he was convinced were in the trailer and refused to return to it until producers had replaced it.

A source said: “During a break in filming, Will had gone to his dressing trailer to rest, but when he got there, he heard an eerie rattling noise – then strange voices coming from the bathroom.”

Will thought there were intruders in there so asked security to get them out but when he returned he could still hear the noises.

The source told National Enquirer magazine: “After a while Will went back into the trailer – but once again, he heard weird noises coming from the bathroom. This time he threw open the door and was shocked when he saw nothing.

“He ran outside and told the guards, ‘It’s ghosts from that graveyard and I’m not going back in there!’”

So producers got a new trailer so filming could start again.

Daniel Radcliffe is an Atheist

DANIEL Radcliffe is a “militant atheist”.

The 22-year-old star was brought up in a Christian/Jewish household, but believes it is important to separate religion and education because he thinks sex lessons are important.

He told attitude magazine: “I’m not religious, I’m an atheist, and a militant atheist when religion starts impacting on legislation.

“We need sex education in schools. Schools have to talk to kids from a young age about relationships, gay and straight. In Britain it’s better – more of a conversation is being had.”

Daniel continues to have a vested interest in politics, but having supported the Liberal Democrat party in the last UK election, he now thinks he is more of a Labour follower, because he believes they stand up for more left-wing values.

He said: “I will probably be going to Labour. From what I’ve seen of Ed Miliband I really like him and he speaks for what I believe in. I think he’s genuine, genuinely left wing and will act as such if he gets in.”

Jennifer Lopez Feels Picked on

JENNIFER Lopez often feels like she’s being “picked on”.

The singer-and-actress — who is currently dating 24-year-old backing dancing Casper Smart following her split from husband Marc Anthony last July — admits it’s hard to cope with all the constant speculation about her life and craves privacy.

She said: “It’s hard sometimes, I’m not going to lie. I try to stay away from the media as much as I can.

“Sometimes. I try not to take it too personally, because I don’t think they do it just to me. But as a human being it feels like that. You feel like you’re the only one being picked on. But the truth is, they pick on everybody. They really don’t discriminate. I try to concentrate on all the great things I have going on in my life.”

While she sometimes finds being in the spotlight hard Jennifer — who has three-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with singer Marc — says she wouldn’t stop her children from perusing careers in the media if that’s what they wanted.

She added: “Here’s what I know about doing what I do – and obviously their dad is the same way. If they’re going to do it, there’s nothing I can do to stop them — and I’ll support them. But just like my mom, I’m going to make them go to school and I’m going to let them make that decision when they’re old enough to make that decision.

“I don’t want them to be in the business at a young age. I just don’t think they need that burden, that pressure. They should have a normal life — go to school, play, grow up. They should have a family life, as solid a foundation as I can give them. If they want to go off and be artists or singers or dancers or pilots or architects or anything – then they have my full support. My mom couldn’t stop me from [getting into this industry], I won’t be able to stop them from doing it.”

Whitney Houston Dead at 48!!

WHITNEY Houston has died at the age of 48.

The singer — as famous for her golden voice as she was for the troubles — passed away Saturday, just hours before Houston was due to perform at music mogul Clive Davis‘ annual pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

“I can confirm that Whitney Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. We received a call at 3:43 p.m. from hotel security and Beverly Hills fire and police responded minutes later,” Beverly Hills Police Lieutenant Mark Rosen told People magazine.

“Someone in her entourage found her unresponsive in her room … It’s unclear who notified hotel staff because she has quite an entourage here at the hotel. We attempted to resuscitate her, to no avail.

“At this time, there’s no obvious evidence of foul play or cause of death.”

Earlier this week, Whitney was spotted having a night out on the town in L.A. at “Kelly Price & Friends Unplugged: For The Love Of R&B Grammy Party” at Tru Hollywood.

The star has a 19-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, with ex-husband Bobby Brown.

The two wed in 1992, and the following year Brown was charged with domestic abuse. After several rocky years together, the couple divorced in 2007.

The Recording Academy was among the first to release a statement after Houston’s death: “Six-time GRAMMY winner Whitney Houston was one of the world’s greatest pop singers of all time who leaves behind a robust musical soundtrack spanning the past three decades. Her powerful voice graced many memorable and award-winning songs. A light has been dimmed in our music community today, and we extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, fans and all who have been touched by her beautiful voice.”

Demi Lovato: ‘Mother Helped me Through Rehab’

DEMI Lovato‘s mother helped her to “get through” rehab.

The 19-year-old singer — who was admitted to a treatment facility for three months in November 2010 to receive help for an eating disorder and self-harming — says her mother Dianna is her “anchor”, and has made her feel positive about her future once again.

She said: “My mother is everything to me. She’s my anchor, she’s the person I go to when I need to talk to someone. She is an amazing woman. I got through it with the support of people like my mother.

“You can only make it when you feel that you are loved, no matter what, when you feel that you will get another chance. I am grateful and I am ready to make this year a much better year. I feel great.”

Demi — who is still close friends with her former Disney costars Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus — explained she has come to realise how important a “good support system” is.

She added in an interview with the Daily Record newspaper: “It’s very important that you have a good support system, no matter what you do in life. And just because one friend says jump, it doesn’t mean you need to jump as well.

“Be careful of not being led in the wrong direction. And make sure you pick your friends wisely. You don’t want to hang out with the wrong crowd.”

Nicolas Cage Wore Voodoo Mask to Get Into Character

NICOLAS Cage wore a voodoo ‘mask’ to help him get into character for ‘Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance 3D’.

The eccentric actor returns as stunt biker anti-hero Johnny Blaze – who sells his soul to the demon Mephisto leading to him to become his flaming skulled alter-ego – in the film and to help him get into character he applied make-up and wore items to channel the spirit world.

In an interview with The Sun newspaper, he said: “There was a writer named Brian Bates who put forward the notion that all actors, whether they know it or not, come from a long distant past of medicine men and Shamans.

“So I would paint my face with black and white make-up so it looked like a skull – like some sort of Afro-Caribbean voodoo icon or a New Orleanian voodoo icon. And put black contact lenses in my eyes to look more like a skull – you couldn’t see any white in the eyes.

“And I’d sew ancient Egyptian artifacts into my costume, get some rocks that had alleged frequencies too.

“Who knows if it works or not? The point is it stimulated my imagination to think I really was this character.

The second installment in the ‘Ghost Rider’ franchise included filming in Romania and Turkey and Cage said he freaked out some locals when he turned up off-set dressed as a shaman.

He added: “If you have a Christmas party in Romania and you’re shooting until 2am and you’re invited to go the Christmas party and some schnapps is involved and you’re still in character, all hell can break loose. And it did. I’m lucky I’m not in a Romanian prison.”

‘Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance 3D’ is in cinemas later this month.

Courteney Cos to Direct TV Movie

COURTENEY Cox is to direct a new TV movie.

The Cougar Town actress will helm murderous internet love story ‘Tall Hot Blonde’ for network Lifetime, and she admits she is delighted to have the job.

She said: “I love directing. I thought, ‘Oh my god, this is perfect for my personality, to be involved in every little detail.’ It made me so happy.

“The film is a true story about two people falling in love on the internet, but no one’s who they’re supposed to be. There’s a murder out of jealousy. It’s a really interesting documentary. It’s a great role for a guy – and it’s not your typical battered woman.”

Having finished the latest season of ‘Cougar Town’ — which she has previously directed episodes of — the former ‘Friends’ beauty will be focusing entirely on her new job, which will film in Los Angeles so she can be in close proximity to her seven-year-old daughter Coco

She added: “This is going to be a full time job for the next, three months. Coco’s so social. Everything in her life. I think it’s important to keep it really consistent.”

Debra Messing’s Son Loves Peter Pan

DEBRA Messing thinks her son is lost to Neverland — just as she was as a child.

The Smash actress says she had aspirations for her seven-year-old son Roman to get a “proper job” when he grows up but instead he looks to be following his mother’s Peter Pan path to stardom

“He was just Peter Pan in second grade in school,” says Debra.

“That was pretty meaningful for me because I was Wendy when I was small. I hoped he would be something like an architect and then I see him on stage singing away and he was so great. It was adorable.

“I think he wants to be an actor. I hope it is a phase but he is really good!”

Debra recently announced her split from husband Daniel Zelman.

Channing Tatum Has Never Had a First Date

CHANNING Tatum went on his very first first date in new movie The Vow.

The married 31-year-old GI Joe star claims he’s never had an official first date in real life.

“Whenever I’ve been on a date it’s always been with someone I already know or that I’ve hung out with anyway,” says Channing.

“I’ve never walked up to a girl with some cheesy line and asked her on a date. That’s what I would call a proper first date – between two people who don’t know each other – and I’ve never done that.”

Tatum recently said he is constantly reminded of his days before acting when he was a Chippendale.

“It does get mentioned a lot and it is embarrassing,” he said. “I don’t really like to think back to doing it but I do remember the reaction of the women.

“It didn’t matter if they were 29 or 90, it was pretty much always the same!”
