Lindsay Lohan on Mom's Reality TV Show: "I Don't Want Any Part of it"

Lindsay Lohan has insisted she doesn't want any part in mom Dina's new E! reality TV show, Living Lohan, but says she's glad it's taking place -- because it takes away the attention from her.

Speaking to Britain's Sunday Times newspaper about her mom's TV project, the 21-year-old says, "People are always going to do what they’re going to do, y’know? And hopefully, Ali has learnt not to do some of the things I did.

"I wish them both well, I really do, but it’s their thing; I don’t want any part of it. Besides, it takes the attention away from me, which always helps."

The Mean Girls star also slammed Shirley MacLaine's accusation that she is addicted to limelight, flatly saying, "No. I don’t take it like that.

"I think it's the glass-half-full thing, the way you perceive things. If you let the bad filter in, you’re going to get some of the bad and have to stomach it. It's a discipline, not letting that stuff through. It comes with time and age and being in this industry."
