Ashley Tisdale's Rep Denies HIV Rumors

Ashley Tisdale's rep has blasted claims the actress was diagnosed with HIV, branding the reports "completely untrue."

Several rumors surfaced online last week claiming the High School Musical star, 22, may have contracted the disease from her rhinoplasty procedure last year. By Friday the rumor mill kicked into overdrive causing some panicked fans to post YouTube videos to "Pray for Ashley."

Another website posted what it claimed was a statement from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

However, a spokesman for Cedars-Sinai tells People.com, "We absolutely did not issue a release."

The actress -- known for her role as 'Sharpay' in the Disney show -- is currently in Salt Lake City filming High School Musical 3.

Tisdale recently dismissed reports she had undergone breast enlargement surgery, saying, "Look at me. Does it look like it to you? No! It's ridiculous. I'm not for plastic surgery. I'm not going to get another surgery. I can promise you that."
