Gerard Butler: 'Madonna Played Nurse To Me'
Scottish Actor Gerard Butler says pop superstar Madonna played nursemaid to him during the filming of her husband Guy Ritchie's new movie.
'PS, I Love You' actor Butler, 38, says the Material Girl hitmaker came to the rescue when he caught a bacterial infection on the set of RocknRolla.
He tells the Daily Record newspaper, "She was awesome. She was very, very cool.
"She played a bit of nurse to me, because I got sick in the middle of the film. She turned up with all these medications.
"In fact, the first day I met her, she was like, 'So you're the sick one. Take this, take this, take this.'
"The infection was in my throat and chest and I was really run down.
"Madonna thought the whole thing out and helped me get better."
RocknRolla, about a Russian mobster who sets up a real estate scam that generates millions of pounds, also stars Thandie Newton; Tom Wilkinson; and Toby Kebbel. It is set to be released on October 3, 2008.
