Leona Lewis and Anthony Kiedis Voted World's Sexiest Vegetarians

British pop star Leona Lewis and Red Hot Chili Peppers rocker Anthony Kiedis have been named the sexiest vegetarian celebrities alive.

The musical pair received the most votes in an online poll of fellow vegetarians conducted by animal rights group PETA.

'Bleeding Love' singer Leona, who hasn't eaten meat since she was 12-years-old, says, "I am totally against animal cruelty. I am vegetarian so I don't have clothes, shoes, or bags made from leather or suede or any animal products. I'm on a mission."

Leona, 23, and Anthony, 45, beat fellow vegetarians Casey Affleck, Hayden Panettiere, Milo Ventimiglia, Abbie Cornish and Kristen Bell in claiming the titles.

'Californication' hitmaker Anthony turned vegan after learning about the worldwide depletion of fish in the oceans and after a doctor recommended a healthy vegan diet for his son.

He explains, "I saw some documentary footage of what happens in the factory farming of cows. It sealed the deal."

Country singer Carrie Underwood and 'The Tonight Show' star Kevin Eubanks were last year's winners.

Previous winners include Shania Twain, Natalie Portman, Chris Martin, Tobey Maguire and Alicia Silverstone.
