Madonna and Guy Ritchie 'Slept In Separate Rooms' During Romantic Weekend

With rumors raging Madonna and Guy Ritchie are heading for divorce, a new report claims relations between the pair became so frosty during a romantic trip together last weekend, they ended up sleeping in separate bedrooms.

According to British newspaper The Sun, the couple last week jetted off to Milan, Italy, for a three day break together as fears for their marriage grew — but didn't share the same room.

Madonna and Guy left their three children with a nanny as they left for the romantic city at the end of last week.

A source close to the couple said, "They had completely separate rooms, schedules, everything.

"It is all very well organized but it’s not a marriage the way most people understand it.

"They have this attitude like 'we're not really a couple but we're friends and we love each other and raise our kids'.

"But the truth is they p*** each other off, don't agree on anything, don't see each other or live ‘together’ as they did.

"They are like ships passing in the night.

After three days in Milan, Madonna jetted over to New York to rejoin kids Lourdes, ten, Rocco, six, and adopted two-year-old David.

The source added, "Most couples would have made the most of the romantic city but there was hardly any contact between them. Madonna quickly flew back to NY to join her kids."
