Kate Moss 'Can't Stand' Rival Agyness Deyn

As Agyness Deyn becomes the new queen of the catwalk, it's no surprise that the current reigning queen -- Kate Moss -- is feeling a little threatened.
"Kate can't stand her. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that Agy is her nemesis," a source close to Moss tells Britain's Daily Mail newspaper.
"It's not about Agy's personality, but what she represents. She's younger, fresher, everyone loves her and she's got everything ahead of her."
Meanwhile, Deyn looks set to succeed where Kate failed: in the music industry.
"Now she's singing with a band, something Kate has wanted to do for years. Kate's 34 now and she realizes her days as a model are numbered. Everyone's calling Agy the new Kate Moss - and that hurts."
Agyness' mum Lorraine helped her create her stage name - it consists of a mixture of her grandmother's name, Agnes, and Lorraine's maiden name, Dean, with some extra letters added.
And industry experts are lining up to sing Deyn's praises. "She has life, personality and she's very enthusiastic about everything she does,' says Vogue photographer Robert Fairer. "She jumps up and down, she plays the part and she is always happy."
And despite her burgeoning fame, Agyness clearly hasn't let the success go to her head. "For all Agy's new-found fame, she hasn't been spoiled in the slightest," says a friend who has known her since she was at Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School.
"The Agy of today is exactly the same wide-eyed northern lass who moved to London less than five years ago.
"Perhaps it has something to do with the fact she didn't make it as a model until she was in her 20s; Kate Moss was an international icon at 15.
"As far as we're concerned, nothing's changed, other than we get to go to the most fantastic parties with her."
And on those Kate Moss comparisons, Deyn's mom, says, "People have said she's the new Kate Moss, but Agy has never compared herself to anyone."
