Charlize Theron: 'Sex Scenes Are Technical'

Charlize Theron says filming sex scenes are "technical".

The actress, who stars alongside and kisses Will Smith in new movie 'Hancock', says she finds love scenes more awkward than sexy.

The 32-year-old -- who is dating director Stuart Townsend -- explains, "I think people forget how technical those scenes are, more technical than anything else that you'll ever do in acting.

"It's not a sexy free for all. It's not show up and get busy and hopefully the camera will catch it. And there really is no room for anything except occasional awkwardness and giggles.

"But I always have a clause in my contract that if I see the finished film and I don't feel it's appropriate or I do feel like somebody's trying to take advantage of me, I can pull the scene."
