Tom Cruise Has 'No Interest' In Hitting Broadway

Rumors that Tom Cruise is planning to appear on Broadway are "totally off-base", a source close to the actor has said.

The source insists that although the Top Gun star's wife, Katie Holmes, is set to take to the stage in The Arthur Miller post World War II drama All My Sons later this year -- Cruise has no interest in getting a Broadway show of his own.

The insider tells MSNBC, "Come on. Just because his wife is on Broadway, Tom is going to run and get a show too? Please. That's ridiculous."

Meanwhile, All My Sons is already being dogged by rumors of slow ticket sales, with vendors reportedly complaining that theater-goers are showing little interest in the production.

A seller told Britain's Metro newspaper last week, "I bought 1,000 tickets to the show… I still have them."

Katie, 29, is rumored to have picked up a $1 million fee for her run in the show, which will preview on September 18.
