Madonna 'Outraged' at A-Rod "Affair of The Heart" Claims

Pop superstar Madonna is said to be "outraged" that lawyers claimed her relationship with baseball star Alex Rodriguez was "an affair of the heart".

The Material Girl hitmaker -- not named in A-Rod’s divorce file -- was furious when Earle Lilly, lawyer for Cynthia Rodriguez, made the claims.

A source involved in the New York Yankees player's bitter divorce revealed last night, "Madonna's outraged.

"She told his wife Cynthia's lawyers not to make any more statements about her – in short, shut up."

It was revealed yesterday how Rodriguez -- commonly nicknamed A-Rod -- was hit with a $100million divorce suit.

Lawyers say his association with the 49-year-old singer is not sexual. But a US TV station still mocked up how a love child might look.

Madonna, in New York with her film director husband Guy Ritchie, denies an affair.

A-Rod, worth $450million and a convert to the mystical Jewish faith Kabbalah, which Madonna follows, was in NY with Rabbi Michael Berg who helped Madge save her marriage.
