Alex Rodriguez's Wife Threatens to Release Madonna Texts

Madonna could face further embarrassment over her relationship with Alex Rodriguez -- after the baseball player's wife threatened to to release text messages he had sent the pop superstar.

Cynthia Rodriguez, 34, who has hit the New York Yankee with a $100million divorce suit, has copies of the messages Alex sent the married Material Girl hitmaker.

A source reveals, "They were instrumental in convincing her that he was besotted. The messages could be released if things get really ugly."

Cynthia's legal team say the association was not sexual. Madonna, 49, denies an affair.
