Gerard Butler to Land $2m Versace Deal?

Gerard Butler's muscular physique is set to make hIm $2m richer -- after catching the eye of Donatella Versace.

The legendary fashionista is said to be so impressed by the 38-year-old actor's abs and perfect pecs she wants to offer him a multi-million dollar modeling contract, which will see him replace Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey as the face of Versace menswear.

The Scottish born actor -- who now lives in New York -- was personally invited to Donatella's summer runway show in Milan and was also honored at a private party thrown by Men's Vogue where he was pictured with Donatella's daughter Allegra and fellow actor John Malkovich.

Insiders say Butler -- who has has been linked with a string of the world's most desirable women including Naomi Campbell, Rosario Dawson and Cameron Diaz -- would be ideal for a big ad campaign.

One source told Scotland's Sunday Mail newspaper, "Gerard has it all - the dark good looks, the physique and the right image. Donatella saw him in 300 and fell in love with him on the spot.

"Men want to be like him and women simply adore him, especially when they see his six-pack.

"He is starting to make his mark in the mainstream movie world but also retains an edginess that a label as savvy as Versace know could really work for them."
