Katie Holmes to Star in Eli Stone

Katie Holmes is heading back to the small screen -- landing a cameo in ABC's sophomore drama Eli Stone.
The former 'Dawson's Creek' actress and wife of Tom Cruise will star in one episode of the show this fall, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Though a spokesman for the show declined to comment, the publication says the 29-year-old -- who is headed to Broadway for the remake of Arthur Miller's All My Sons later this year -- is definitely on board to star in one episode.
Holmes -- who has a two-year-old daughter with the 'Top Gun' star -- is set to film her cameo later this month. Her appearance on the show will mark a reunion between Katie and her former Dawson's Creek boss, Eli exec producer Greg Berlanti.
Eli Stone is about a "thirty-something attorney (Eli) who begins having larger-than-life visions that compel him to do out-of-the-ordinary things in his pursuit of justice."
British singer George Michael appeared in four episodes of the program when title character Eli Stone, played by Jonny Lee Miller, had a prophet-like vision.
