Angelina Jolie to Remain in Hospital For a Few More Days

Angelina Jolie will remain in hospital for the next few days.
The Hollywood actress -- who gave birth to twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marchel at France's Lenval hospital last Saturday -- will not be checking out of the maternity ward today, despite reports to the contrary.
Lenval spokeswoman Nadine Bauer told E! News, "After a C-section, the normal stay for a mother in the Lenval hospital is between eight and 10 days."
When asked directly if Jolie was due for discharge later today, Bauer said, "No," adding, "I'm not sure what day she will be leaving.
"Only when Dr. Sussmann is completely satisfied that she is in good health and fully recovered from the C-section."
A hospital insider claims Sussmann is hoping to keep the mother-of-six in the hospital until she is fully recovered as she will likely take on too many responsibilities—and not get enough bed rest—if left to her own devices.
"Angelina has four young and lively children at home, and he suspects the temptation to get up out of bed and play with them will overwhelm her," the source said.
"He knows how much she misses the other children, but he feels that she will benefit from a few extra days' rest. They're being very well cared for."
