Gerard Butler says success hasn't changed him.

The British actor -- who shot to fame in comic book adaptation '300' -- insists he is still the same person, despite being a household name

He says, "It's weird. You are still the same person who has to deal with getting out of bed every morning and going to the toilet.

"I think that there's a part of you that always imagines if you encounter success, every fibre of your being will change. And you will suddenly think and feel and behave like a different person. And you don't. You're still, 'Oh, so and so didn't call me,' and 'F**k, I have to take care of that bill.' "

However, Gerard -- who can soon be seen starring in Madonna's husband Guy Ritchie's new movie 'RocknRolla' -- admits he does get recognised a lot more when he goes out.

He explained, "You get people in the street where they literally, at times, go crazy - 'You don't understand this was the best film I ever saw!' And it's the strength of that reaction that is most overwhelming."
