Britney Spears "Started to Unravel" When She Met Kevin Federline, Says Doctor

Britney Spears' fall from grace can be traced back to her introduction to ex-husband Kevin Federline, according Dr. Drew Pinsky.
On the new E! True Hollywood Story of Spears' life, premiering Friday, July 25 at 8 ET/PT, Pinsky discusses his belief that the Toxic singer's life went downhill as soon as she got involved with Federline.
He explains, "If you take Britney's life and put a moment in time where things started getting bad, it's the moment she got involved with Kevin Federline.
"That's when things started to unravel."
However, despite her recent woes this year, Britney seems to be getting her life back on track.
Her manager, Larry Rudolph, last week revealed that Britney would be spending the summer working on her new album. And over the weekend, Spears made a surprise appearance at a fundraiser for Jenny McCarthy's autism charity Generation Rescue in Los Angeles.
Britney saw permanent custody of her two children handed over to ex-husband Kevin Federline on Thursday, July 17, following 18-months of court hearings, mental trauma, and a breakdown.
But she stunned onlookers on Saturday by arriving at the Los Angeles party in an elegant black evening dress, with perfect hair and make-up for her glamorous night out.
And the singer appeared to be in good spirits. She "definitely looked happy," a witness said. "She was clapping and smiling a lot."
Another witness revealed that Britney "looked like she was back to her old self -- normal -- like the star the world fell in love with all those years ago."
