Victoria Beckham is furious with pal Katie Holmes over her "copycat" hairdo, it has been claimed

The former Spice Girl, 34, is said to be distraught after her plan to conquer America as a style icon fell flat on its face, and is convinced Katie, 29, had her "Pob" pruned into a more radical style solely to upstage her.

A source says, "When she arrived in LA Victoria felt she was the equal to any star.

"But with the failure of the Spice Girls reunion and David's faltering career, she is terrified everyone’s losing interest in brand Beckham.

"The one thing she thought she had over Katie and other leading lights was her sense of style.

"But now that Katie's usurping her, she doesn’t know how they can continue to be friends."
