Simon Cowell is The Favorite Reality-TV Villain

Simon Cowell's acid tongue has won him the title of America's favorite reality-TV villain.
The opinionated American Idol judge, known for his scathing critiques of the TV talent show's contestants, garnered 39 percent of the vote to win the title.
1.3 million voters took part in the poll, carried out by AOL Television, it was announced Thursday. Idol was voted best reality show, with 33 percent of the vote.
The Fox network talent competition also took top place for the "hottest hook-up," with 44 percent casting their vote for a liaison between 2008 Idol winner David Cook and former contestant Kimberly Caldwell, who were photographed together on a date.
Co-judge Paul Abdul, known for her emotional outbursts and as the kindest of the three judges on the American Idol panel, was chosen worst reality judge by 42 percent of voters.
Only 14 percent said they'd want to take part in Idol, however. The Amazing Race took that category, with 32 percent of votes.
Losers in the poll included dating show The Bachelor, which won the "SO over" category, and Flavor Flav. Flavor of Love “won” for the season’s worst reality program, the show that voters didn’t want to go on and scariest star.
