Amy Winehouse's Dad to Take More Control Over Her Finances

Amy Winehouse's father is planning to take more control of the troubled singer's finances after finding out her hangers-on were booking Taxis from her account – without Amy's permission.

Mitch Winehouse is now planning to get rid of her so-called friends and make sure the Rehab hitmaker's money is kept safe.

A source says, "Mitch learned some of Amy's hangers-on have taken liberties by using taxis when they shouldn't.

"He's not happy about it and has vowed to get them out of her life."

Mitch, 57, collapsed two weeks ago and his doctor is keeping a close eye on him. Stress of looking after Amy is said to be the cause.

Amy, 24, was recently prescribed the antibiotic Suprax, which is given to treat nasty infections.

"It's a common antibiotic. Junkies often need them because their immune system's weak," said one medical expert.
