Ana Ortiz: 'Rebecca Romijn Will be a Great Mom'

Ana Ortiz says her Ugly Betty co-star Rebecca Romijn will be a "great" mom.

Romijn -- who plays Alexis Meade in the hit ABC show -- yesterday annoucned she was expecting twins, her first children with husband Jerry O'Connell.

And Ortiz -- who plays Hilda Suarez in Ugly -- has no doubt the former model is ready to be a mommy.

She tells Us Weekly magazine, "She is so happy — she is going to be such a great mom!

"She's a kid herself, and so is Jerry. Those kids are the luckiest people. I can't wait to meet them!"

And her other co-star, Becki Newton -- who plays bitchy receptionist Amanda Tanen in the show -- said the cast of Betty already knew the exciting news.

"I love the idea of a couple like that having babies!" Newton said. "It's so great. We’re really, really happy for them. They're great people!"
