Guy Ritchie: 'Fatherhood Has Taken Over My Life'

Guy Ritchie says fatherhood has taken over his life.
The movie maker -- who has three children, daughter Lourdes, 11; their son Rocco, seven; and the recently adopted David Banda, two, with his pop superstar wife Madonna -- says being a parent is the most unbelievable experience of his life.
"Fatherhood is unbelievable," Ritchie, 39, tells Britain's Live magazine. "It has taken over my life.
"But something else surprised me – how much you can love an adopted child, the same as you can love a biological child. I didn't anticipate that."
Ritchie wed Madonna in Dec. 2000, four months after their son Rocco was born. They adopted Banda, a Malawian orphan, in 2006. Lourdes is from Madonna's relationship with Carlos Leon.
When asked about the passages in his brother-in-law Christopher Ciccone's book about the importance of Kabbalah in his relationship with Madonna, Ritchie bluntly says, "Sorry, but you're asking serious questions I will not answer.
"What I will say is that most religion baffles me."
When asked by the interviewer his opinion on the book, Ritchie again refused to answer: "You are now in the territory I am not about to talk about," he said. "Listen, mate – I have to go now. Thanks."
