Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney is set to infuriate ex-wife Heather Mills -- by taking their four-year-old daughter Bea on holiday with his new girlfriend Nancy Shevell.

Former glamor model Heather, 40, is said to be unhappy at Beatrice spending time with Nancy -- but Paul, 66, has told her to mind her own business.

Paul and Nancy, 47, will spend most of August at his $20m holiday home on New York's Long Island. Bea will join them for part of the time -- and they may also take her away for a mini-break.

The holiday will be the longest Paul and Nancy have spent together -- and they will use it as a test to see if they want to take their relationship to the next level.

A source said, "This is a significant trip. If they enjoy the month they might start living together.

"And although Heather does not want Bea spending any time around Nancy she has been told by Paul she has no say in it -- which did not go down well at all."

Meanwhile, Paul is said to be feeling "pangs of jealousy and frustration" over Bea's close relationship with Heather's new boyfriend, Jamie Walker -- who is almost half his age.

Bea playfully refers to him as "Daddy", which has come as a blow to Sir Paul, according to a source.

"The news another man is playing such a big part in Bea's life at this impressionable age will hurt Sir Paul. He has to accept Bea will spend time with any partners of Heather's choice," the insider told Britain's Sunday People newspaper.

"But it's hard for him to accept because he has no control over who Heather dates.

"He's just feeling like any dad would in this situation - slightly displaced.

"Heather's told anyone who will listen how smitten she is with Jamie. So Sir Paul will have to get used to Jamie being around for a long time yet."
