Madonna Buys Guy Ritchie a $24k Motorbike

Madonna has splashed out on a $24,000 motorbike--and--sidecar for her moviemaking husband Guy Ritchie.

The Material Girl hitmaker -- who turns 50 this month -- tracked down the limited edition 1938 vintage BMW R71 -- similar to the one ridden by animated pals Wallace and Gromit -- after trawling round antique collectors.

The gift follows months of speculation that the pair -- who have been married for seven years -- are heading for divorce.

An insider tells Britain's News of The World newspaper, "She really wanted to treat Guy after a few weeks of going through the mill. He told her years ago he'd always wanted to own a WWII-era bike with sidecar.

"He's thrilled with his present. It's comical to think of him in the driver's seat and Madge in the sidecar like Wallace and Gromit."

Guy, 39, recently revealed that being a father had taken over his life.

He said, "Fatherhood is unbelievable. It has taken over my life. But something else surprised me – how much you can love an adopted child, the same as you can love a biological child. I didn’t anticipate that."
