Harry Potter Delayed to Due to Daniel Radcliffe Broadway Strip?

The release of the sixth Harry Potter film has been postponed until next year because the film's star, Daniel Radcliffe, is about to strip off on stage, insiders claim.

Fans of the boy wizard are fuming after Warner Bros announced that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will not hit screens until July next year, long after the original November 21 release date.

Movie bosses claim they made the controversial decision because "a spot opened on the summer schedule".

But various reports have suggested the real reason is that Radcliffe, 19, will be getting his kit off on Broadway in the play Equus in November.

And studio chiefs do not want Radcliffe's saucy grown-up image to be associated with his innocent boy wizard alter ego.

Thousands have signed online petitions and boycotts and protests are also being organized.

Radcliffe was also required to disrobe on stage when he starred in the West End version of Equus last year.

This is going to destroy the christmas toy sales of HP gifts. Not to mention all of the HP related holiday school parties that are scheduled. There are going to be a lot of very irate fans around the world.
