Jennifer Lopez Jealous of Michael Phelps?
It seems Jennifer Lopez is a tad envious of all the attention eight-time Olympic gold-medal winner Michael Phelps has been receiving this past week.
The Jenny From The Block hitmaker, who recently gave birth to twins Max and Emme, is currently training for the Malibu Triathlon; and yesterday appeared on US TV show Good Morning America to discuss her preparations for the sporting event.
The singer, 38, was overheard saying after the segment that she "couldn't understand why everyone is talking about that swimmer," a GMA source told MSNBC's Courtney Hazlett. "She couldn’t come up with Phelps' name, and then she yammered on about how she was the one training for a triathlon just six months after giving birth, and how that was the big story right now, not 'the swimmer'."
Lopez -- who is married to songwriter Marc Anthony -- is planning to donate the money her race raises to the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. To help drum up attention, she started a blog to share tips on training. "Touch up makeup prior to your run" hasn't made its way into any posts, despite Lopez being spotted arriving in Central Park with her makeup artist later in the day.
"Apparently, Jenny from the Block requires a lot of powder," says the source.

I don't think Jennifer Lopez really knows who Michael Phelps is. But I think she was serious in her comment about how she was "the one training for a triathlon just six months after giving birth, and how that was the big story right now, not 'the swimmer'."

She was very serious, everyone in Hollywood is self absorbed, why would she be any different? I never do these things but I am very annoyed that someone with her money and recognition would try to take something from someone else. He accomplished something noone else has been able to do. He is a wonderful athlete and deserves the spot light. Go Phelps, you are an insperation.

I really think that she really needs to check herself. That was a really selfish comment. He trained his whole life for those eight gold metals that he won. Just because she's had twins and is going to do a triathlon six months after her giving birth that doesn't mean any thing. Donating it to a good cause is great, but she ruined the whole goodness effect by saying that she wanted all the attention. Oh and by the way I'm only 15. I will never look up to someone who is going to say things like that. She is not a good role model.
