Jay-Z Wants to Headline Glastonbury Again

Jay-Z wants to headline Glastonbury again.
The Show Me What You Got hitmaker, real name Shawn Corey Carter, says he'd be happy to return to the UK summer music festival following his controversial performance earlier this year.
He tells MTV, "Of course I'd come back. It was incredible. I'm glad it went that way, because the world was watching.
"It's not about genres. It's about good music and bad music."
Jay-Z opened his set at Glastonbury with a cover of Oasis' classic Wonderwall, a deliberate swipe at Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher who publicly criticized the decision to book him as a headline act.
He also broadcast some of the rocker's derogatory comments on giant video screens before showing clips of celebrities and royalty made to look like they were endorsing his performance.
Britain's The Independent newspaper later declared that Jay-Z had turned Noel Gallagher's criticism "into one of the great Glastonbury moments."
The rapper -- who is married to singer Beyonce -- added, "I have a sense of humor like a Brit', so I thought people would appreciate that. Noel Gallagher was one of the biggest detractors, so I figured that was a cool way to start the show."
Noel has since said his comments about the star were "misrepresented".
