Jennifer Garner Confirms Pregnancy

Ben Affleck's wife Jennifer Garner has confirmed the couple are expecting their second child.

At an event celebrating the 10th anniversary of Baby Einstein products in L.A. Wednesday, a reporter for American newspaper USA Today asked the actress, 36, about her upcoming projects.

Garner then pointed to her baby bump and said with a smile, "This."

She wouldn’t reveal her due date.

"We're so excited, obviously," she told Access Hollywood.

On July 17, Garner's former Alias co-star Victor Garber confirmed the baby news, revealing that Jennifer was 5 months pregnant, which would put her due date around October/November.

Garner and husband Ben Affleck -- parents of daughter Violet, 2 -- recently snapped up a $16 million house in the L.A.'s Brentwood neighborhood as they prepare for their new baby.

In 2007, Jennifer told British Marie Claire that she and Affleck couldn't wait to give Violet a little brother or sister.

"We definitely wonder what it would be like to have another -- hopefully, knock on wood, someday," she said.

In June, Affleck told Access Hollywood, "We're very happy. Things couldn't be better. We're kind of taking it easy and just kind of enjoying a little downtime at home."
