Jennifer Aniston's Revenge Tour

Jennifer Aniston's trip to New York -- the home of her ex-boyfriend John Mayer -- has been branded a "revenge" tour after the actress was seen strolling around the city without a care in the world.

"It's like Jen is on nothing less than a revenge tour," a source tells America's OK! magazine in its latest issue. "In the past, Jen shunned publicity and shrank from photographers' lenses, now she's openly encouraging the attention, smiling, showing off her body, and creating photo ops!"

Following Jen and John's split earlier this month, Mayer insisted he called off their romance to "be alone".

"There's no lying, there's no cheating, there's no nothing," he said. "People are different, people have different chemistry. I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don't want to waste somebody's time if something's not right."

On Aug. 18 Jen, 39, flew from her Beverly Hills home to NYC and checked into the Ritz-Carlton for three-night stay. She started her trip off by catching up with her Object of My Affection co-star and friend, Paul Rudd, meeting him for dinner at John's favorite restaurant, Nobu.

"Jen was glowing, smiling and being very friendly as she ate tuna tartare, rock shrimp and spinach salad with a glass of wine. It was hard to believe this was a woman who just broke up with her boyfriend," a restaurant insider said.

Sources close to the former Friends actress have played down her split from the No Such Thing hitmaker, insisting Jennifer only ever saw their romance as a fling.

An insider says, "She didn't see herself and John having much in common or having a future together.

"She wasn't fazed by the ending of it. She wasn't hurt at all. She feels fine."
