Angelina Jolie is struggling to cope with her new born twins Vivienne and Knox, according to reports.

The actress -- who gave birth to her fifth and sixth children with partner Brad Pitt on July 12 -- has collapsed twice in the past fortnight and is now receiving emergency medical treatment as she's on the brink of cracking up completely. She is also said to be so fragile that she's sobbing uncontrollably and acting hysterically.

A source tells Britain's Now magazine, "She's in tears up to three times a day and so tired that Brad's found her collapsed asleep in the bath twice.

"She's been working around the clock, breast-feeding the babies and trying to get them to sleep. But as soon as one of them drops off, the other wakes up for another feed.

"She's also not eating very much right now and blames that on being busy. The doctor says that she needs more calories to gain strength and ensure that her breast milk is healthy."

According to the mag, Brad and Angelina have two full-time live-in nannies who do 12-hour shifts; they've also hired two more nannies until the twins are a year old; Brad's parents and Angelina's brother have also been helping; three part-time local nannies -- who work on a 24/7 rota: 3-11pm, 11pm-7am and 7am-3pm -- have also been hired.

Brad and their medical team also want to hire a skilled nurse to stay for six weeks.

doubtful

they have stacks of nannys and I doubt Brad would be in Venice if Angelina was so sick

Very sad

I know how she feels, you feel like you have to manage it all being the mom. Breastfeeding is one of the hardest jobs as a mom because it does take so much out of you and if she isn't eating right, it just makes it twice as bad because then your not getting enough food for you or the baby.

I know she wants a big family, and that's great but she needs to slow down and just take in the moment of these two beautiful children she just had.

It also sounds like she might have some "baby blues" going on. Which if she does, medication will help with the tears and the overwhelmed feeling she has right now. It will get better and she won't have to be on it forever, but there are a lot of children in that household that are very young. She's a good mom and Brad's a good dad, but they really need to take it one day at a time for now.

I really wish her a lot of luck in getting through this trying time, but she needs sleep, food, a little exercise if she can and fresh air once in awhile to help manage stress.
