Britney Spears '100% Not Performing' at MTV's VMAs

Britney Spears' manager has once again been forced to deny speculation the singer is set to perform at this year's MTV VMAs.
Reports where swirling that the Toxic singer was set to put in a performance after a video leaked Friday, which appeared to show the star rehearsing with a group of dancers.
But, Spears' manager, Larry Rudolph, tells celebrity blogger Perez Hilton: "[Britney] is 100% not performing, but she will be attending and opening the show.
"She was not rehearsing for the VMAs.
"It was just her going into the studio with some dancer friends and having fun. It's a regular occurrence now. I see that every day."
The singer, as confirmed by MTV, will open the awards ceremony.
"MTV has long played an important role in my career," Spears said earlier this week. "How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs? I'm excited to open the entire show, to say 'hi' to my fans and to be nominated."
The 26-year-old is up for Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year for Piece for Me. She's been nominated 17 times, but never won a "Moonman" award.
The 25th annual VMAs, hosted by British actor/comedian Russell Brand, will air live at 9 p.m. ET/PT Sunday from Paramount Studios in Hollywood.
