Jonas Brothers Want to Meet Britney Spears at the Video Music Awards

Teen rockers the Jonas Brothers only have one thing on their mind for this year's MTV VMAs -- Britney Spears.

"We really hope we get to meet her," Kevin Jonas told Us Weekly magazine following a rehearsal for their VMA performance.

"That would be an honor," Kevin added.

Kevin's brothers agreed.

"I wanna meet her," Nick said.

"She was the first CD I ever bought, so it would be cool," Joe revealed.

The Jonas Brothers are up against Spears and Chris Brown for Video of the Year, and hope there are enough Moonmen to go around.

Brown "is our new friend," Joe said. "We were hanging out with him today before talking about maybe working together on a song."

Kevin added, "You want to pull for Britney and hope for the best."

The Jonas Brothers are excited about their first VMA performance.

"Everyone dreams of being on the Video Music Awards, so to be here is incredible," Kevin said. "It is always a new experience. Something brand new."

The 25th annual VMAs, hosted by British actor/comedian Russell Brand, will air live at 9 p.m. ET/PT Sunday from Paramount Studios in Hollywood.
