Lindsay Lohan And Samantha Ronson Are The "Real Thing"

LINDSAY Lohan's pals believe her romance with Samantha Ronson is the "real thing".

After months of speculation, the Mean Girls actress confirmed her relationship with club DJ Ronson during a Sept. 21 interview on the radio show Loveline. When asked how long the women have been dating, Lindsay -- who had previously played coy on the topic -- told host Ted Stryker, "a very long time."

And, after a series of disastrous relationships with Hollywood players like Wilmer Valderrama, Harry Morton and Calum Best, friends believe Lindsay has something special with Samantha.

A source tells OK! Magazine, "This is the first healthy relationship Lindsay has ever had.

"Both Lindsay and Samantha have total mutual respect and love for each other. All the nonsense Lindsay's had in past relationships – the crazy fights, cheating and general immaturity – is totally absent. This is the real thing.

"Samantha and Lindsay have been 'out' to friends for a few months now."
