Beyonce: 'My Relationship With Jay-Z is Real'

BEYONCE says her relationship with husband Jay-Z is the real deal.

The couple -- who rarely discuss their relationship in public -- married in a secret ceremony in NYC in April.

And Beyonce insists they aren't interested in having their romance splashed across the cover of magazines.

She tells the November issue of Essence magazine, "What Jay and I have is real.

"It's not about the interviews or getting the right photo op. It's real."

"I never talked about relationships," the star previously told Essence. "I only talk about them in my song writing; otherwise things get too messy. It has worked out because now nobody expects me to talk about them. But it's hard too. You fall in love and you want to tell everybody. But that's a place I just don't go."

Knowles' third and yet untitled album is due to hit stores in November 2008.
