DAVID Hasselhoff insists he has no hard feelings about being cut out of the new Knight Rider series.

Show bosses refused to let the former Baywatch star reprise his role as Michael Knight because they wanted to make the new programs different from the 80s TV series.

But David says he doesn't care.

He reveals, "I went in and pitched Knight Rider to the network with all the intentions of coming back as, like, the dad or something. But they decided to go a different route. So I just said 'See ya later and good luck.'

"I like the new kid and I like the cast. But it is a different version. It is not the same Knight Rider that we know and love but it doesn't make it bad, it just makes it different.

"Hopefully it will take off; I wish them nothing but the best."

Knight Rider

I just got the new Knight Rider GPS that has the original voice of KITT, William Daniels. I wish now they would bring out the Hoff. www.navtones.com has a load of cool voices you can get for your GPS and up until I just got this KR GPS I was loving Mr. T and Kim Cattrall

What?!

Guys this isn't true!
David said that qoute last year. He WILL be on the new series!
This gossip site is just stiring up more stuff.
I guess when you guys need hits you just throw an old David Hasselhoff quote from last year.

There is a new guy running NBC now than the guy who ran it for the 2 hour KR pilot.

So yeah it has been confirmed that David will be coming back!
