Keira Knightley: 'I Detest Unnecessary Nudity'

Keira Knightley only does nude scenes if they're necessary.

The actress, 23, flashes the flesh in new movie The Duchess.

And she insists she wouldn't have done the scenes if she wasn't comfortable.

Keira explains, "I detest unnecessary nudity and what it says about women in society.

"I think you see a lot of films where, oh, yes, the woman gets her [breasts] out again and runs around naked for no reason. And you kind of go, Ugh, do we have to? [laughs.]"

In The Duchess, Keira plays the role of Georgiana, the Duchess of Devonshire, who was the distant relative to the late Princess Diana.
