Robert Pattinson ‘Hated First Twilight Director’

Robert Pattinson and Catherine HardwickeROBERT Pattinson apparently hated working with the first Twilight director, Catherine Hardwicke.

Pattinson and Hardwicke, who was dumped for the sequel New Moon, allegedly didn’t get along because Catherine liked to rush things while Rob liked to take his time.

“Catherine and Rob didn’t exactly get along that well,” a source told FOX News. “Rob is more a method actor and likes to take time and get into his character while Catherine likes to get things moving. It caused a lot of tension between them.”

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Rob and Kristen Stewart “devastated” their costar Nikki Reed when they started dating.

Rob and Nikki apparently dated shortly after they finished filming the first Twilight flick and she was left furious when the hunky British actor dumped her and hooked up with Kristen.

“Rob and Kristen are funny because they’re so super secretive, even with their closest friends in the cast, they’re very cryptic,” a source said. “They are together for sure because it really caused waves between Rob/Kristen and Nikki Reed.

“After the first Twilight wrapped, when Rob and Nikki were together and no one was a megastar yet, you could still see the sparks between Kristen and Rob even though they were each in their respective relationships… they always had this really intense, magnetic chemistry. So Nikki was the one to get hurt.

“Nikki was really in love with Rob, but we’re all scared to bring it up now.

“It’s something we just don’t talk about.

“Everyone is relieved she’s with Paris [Latsis, Paris Hilton’s former fiancé] because he is an amazing boyfriend to her.

“She’s happy and she’s really found someone that she can lean on through all the media hype surrounding the series.”

Sandra Bullock: ‘Nudity Helped The Proposal Succeed’

Sandra Bullock and Ryan ReynoldsSANDRA Bullock is adamant her summer movie The Proposal was a box office smash because it contained nudity.

The actress stripped off to play opposite Ryan Reynolds in the flick and she’s quite sanguine on the effect it had on audiences.

“We had all the right people, the right elements in the right place,” Bullock said of the movie’s success. “But if I’m honest I think nudity had a great deal to do with it. People liked it.”

Bullock, 45, recently revealed that she ditched her blonde highlights because her husband Jesse James didn’t like them.

“I like blonde highlights. If I did change my hair for good, I would have to change my whole wardrobe,” Sandra said. “There was a very important person — mainly my husband — in my life who just didn’t want me being blonde, thank God!

“There was not an appreciation. There was a little person who thought I looked like an angel, and there is a big person that said, ‘I don’t like the blonde on you, take it off.’ And you want him to say that. But that’s what’s fun about it.”

Miley Cyrus: ‘SATC Cameo Was a Dream Come True’

Miley CyrusTEEN queen Miley Cyrus says the cameo she shot for the upcoming Sex and the City 2 is her biggest career accomplishment.

“It was the best job I’ve ever done,” said the 16-year-old Hannah Montana star. “It was a total dream come true.”

Miley filmed her scene Oct. 17 at NYC’s famed Ziegfeld Theater. She wore the same dress as Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) at what appeared to be a movie premiere for Samantha’s on-and-off beau, Smith Jerrod (Jason Lewis).

“I didn’t end up shooting until 11 p.m.,” Cyrus said on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show Friday. “It was awesome — I got a free trip to New York. I hung out in New York all day and then I got to go to the set. I literally shot for an hour-and-a-half, and it was done.

Adam Sandler to Dress up as a Woman For Movie Role

Adam SandlerADAM Sandler will dress up as a woman for his latest movie role.

The 50 First Dates star has signed up for a double role in Jack and Jill, a romantic comedy about twins, portraying both the male and female title characters.

The movie is set to begin filming early next year and is scheduled for release in 2011.

Adam is no stranger to wearing feminine clothes — he recently revealed that he dresses up in princess outfits when he reads his daughters — three-year-old Sadie Madison and 10-month-old Sunny Madeline — fairytales.

“I often slip into costume as the lead character in whatever bedtime story I am reading,” he said.

“This is a little weird because my daughters love Disney princesses. But you would be surprised at how good I look in a ball gown.”

Sandler, 43, also said that he can make people laugh without even trying, meaning he isn’t always taken seriously.

“I was in England doing a TV show with Jonah Hill and towards the end of the show I had to run to catch the plane,” he said.

“I yelled across this big studio full of people, ‘Jonah, I got to go buddy, I got my plane to catch. It was great seeing you, have a safe trip yourself.’ The whole studio laughed about it.

“Even though I told everybody I was serious they didn’t stop laughing. Sometimes I don’t know what I am doing, but people seem to think it’s funny.”

Gerard Butler Almost Talked Out of Law Abiding Citizen Role

Gerard ButlerGERARD Butler was worried about accepting his role in new movie Law Abiding Citizen — in case people compared him to Sir Anthony Hopkins and Kevin Spacey.

The Scottish actor — who plays a man intent on avenging the deaths of his family in the new thriller movie, which also stars Jamie Foxx — admits he was wary about taking on the role because of inevitable comparisons to the Hollywood legends.

“I was talked out of it a couple of times,” Butler, 39, told Britain’s Empire magazine. “But the fact that people were saying ‘no’ was all the more reason for me to do it. Can you do a romantic comedy, or a musical, and then go into a thriller and really scare the c**p out of people?

“What worries me when you take on a role like this, people will go, ‘ Well, he’s no Kevin Spacey!’ or, ‘Tony Hopkins was much better!’

“But I can’t be affected by projected fear.”

Butler recently admitted that his life is “really boring”.

“I just like to go back home and chill out with friends. It sounds really boring but it’s true,” he said.

“Sometimes I finish a movie and I get used to a certain lifestyle and when that stops I get a bit lost for about a week. ‘No one is bringing me lunch anymore — I’ve gotta go do that myself?’

“I lose the main point of my focus. Often all I want to do is travel and just get the hell outta there. But I’m actually boring really.”

50 Cent’s New Film Reminiscent of His Childhood

50 CentRAPPER 50 Cent started drug dealing because he was too young to get a regular job.

The In Da Club rapper became a crack dealer in New York aged just 12, but never took drugs himself because he felt he would become addicted and end up dead.

“I sold drugs and I was in a situation where there weren’t many options available to me — I was so young that working wasn’t an option so that’s when I was dealing, when I was 12,” he said.

When asked if he ever experimented with substances himself, the 34-year-old hip-hop star revealed, “No because I’m obsessive. I do things to an extreme. I know this about myself, I’m an extremist.

“I wouldn’t get high, I would get extremely f***ing high. I’d probably get so high I probably wouldn’t come back if I fell into that kind of space. I know myself enough to know that I got to stay away.”

After being arrested for offences related to drug dealing in 1994 the rapper, aged 19 at the time, avoided between three and nine years in jail by spending seven months stay in a youth ‘shock incarceration’ boot camp in upstate New York.

50 Cent is currently starring in British gangster film Dead Man Running, and is releasing his album Before I Self Destruct next month.
