Jackson Murphy, a 17 year-old film critic and member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association, which votes on the Critics’s Choice Awards, posted a Twitter photo of himself and comedian, Amy Schumer at Sunday’s “Critics’ Choice Awards,” along with a what he probably considered a “cute” quip insinuating the 34 year old actress may “get around”. (Check out the now-deleted tweet below.)

Shortly after, Schumer fired back tweeting: “I get it. Cause I’m a whore? Glad I took a photo with you. Hi to your dad.”
A clearly remorseful & embarrassed Murphy almost immediately deleted his tweet following the response from Schumer , reaching out in a new message saying, “I truly apologize. Thought you’d like the joke. I should leave the comedy to you! Thanks for the photo. Glad you won last night!”
The young critic continued to get flooded by numerous Twitter users, and again expressed, “I truly apologize for the tweet I posted earlier. I’m not a comedian and it wasn’t funny.” Schumer replied again, explaining she was more disappointed than angry. “That’s really okay honey,” the comedian tweeted.” I just remember thinking you and your dad were sweet and it was a bummer to read that.”
Geez, Jackson! Show Schumer some respect! At least Amy seems to be a class act when it comes to the forgiveness card!
