It’s official Negan is making his gory appearance for the season finale of The Walking Dead. The character to be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan is already being hailed as one of “greatest villains ever created in TV and will strike fear into everyone” says Scott Gimple. His arrival might spell doom for a fan-favorite character according to Walker fans, but we still haven’t seen any footage of Jeffrey Dean Morgan as the biggest of The Walking Dead‘s evil nemesis ever. Until now that is…
The trailer leaked in international markets shows Lucille, (his trusty baseball bat covered in barbed wire) that was said to smash in all the heads of the people in the pictures on the last episode.
Morgan was recently interviewed and provided his take on the character: “When my agent/manager called they said, ‘You’ve been offered this thing on The Walking Dead… it’s to play this big bad.’ At the time, they didn’t know the character’s name, because I think it was supposed to be a secret. And I’m like, ‘Is it f*cking Negan?’ And they’re like, ‘I don’t know, we’re going to have to call you back, hold on a second.’ And I’m like, ‘No, it’s f*cking Negan. And I’m f*cking doing it.”
The Walking Dead season six’s final two episodes will be broadcast on March 27 and April 3, 2016 and as we reported before we will be looking at a full 90 minutes of action!
Here is the official trailer for the season finale set for Apr 3rd as AMC keeps removing all the trailers that showed Negan internationally:
