The rumors have turned out to be true, Lady Gaga will be the main act for the 2017 NFL Superbowl show.

This info was confirmed by Gaga herself on official Twitter a bit ago:

This will be number 2 for Lady Gaga on the Super Bowl stage. Earlier this year, she sang the National Anthem while other major artists like Coldplay, Beyoncé and Bruno Mars dominated the halftime show. More than 116.5 million viewers in the U.S. watched the last show, according to NFL networks.

ShowbizSpy reached out to Gaga’s reps and they are telling us: “Yes, the news is true, and she is super excited to be a big part of the 2017 Superbowl halftime show, along with all the other very talented artists.”

We have our spies out in force as we speak trying to find out who the “Other artists” will be. Gaga’s reps would not go into those specific details.

Here is Gaga singing the National Anthem in 2016:

Hey, this is Sam and well there is not much to me. I am an Iraq war vet, dad and father to 3 beautiful children. I am an avid golfer and love to report on anything sports. So, I guess that is where I fit in at Showbiz Spy ;) I currently reside in Mulvane, Ks but visit the Wichita area on a daily basis.
