Tuesday on Facebook the band announced that it will be playing the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 8th & 9th.

Before the newly re-united band headlines in the desert, they will make their debut by lighting up two shows in Sin City!

With a lineup featuring frontman Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan, the influential LA based hard-rock band is set to perform at the “T-Mobile Arena,” a new 20,000-seat venue set to open in April just off the Las Vegas Strip.

The concerts, described in a statement as “the very first place the world can see (GNR’s) historical return,” will mark the first time Rose, Slash and McKagan have played together onstage in 23 years, according to the band.

All we have to say is THANK GOODNESS!! With all the deaths of music legends lately, it’s a breath of fresh air to see some resurrection! We’ll be anxious to see what these guys have in store for us!

Coachella is scheduled for April 15-17 and April 22-24 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Other acts include Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding, Ice Cube and Rancid.
